This may or may not be a 2-part error, 2 separate errors or just part of a coincidence.
I am searching a thread (the SW TFA thread) for a post I made quite a while ago. First, I tried searching the thread for my user name ("JD") - I got this: Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.
Okay, maybe the search bar in a thread doesn't search for a user name (even though I'm sure I was quoted). So I clicked the + button which I guess means advanced search.
1. This doesn't appear to be thread specific search - maybe it's just worded poorly, but this seems to be a forum-wide search rather than specific to that thread.
2. I get this error: "Please enter a name longer than 3 characters to do a partial match on.Please add more constraints to your search. Searches that return all or most of the database are a bad idea."
I can't really enter user name longer than 3 characters as my name is only 2.
(As an aside, there should be a different prefix available when submitting an error as this really isn't a question or a suggest... just saying).

Hmm, clicking 'exact name' does seem to remedy notation 2 - although it doesn't work to search a thread, just an overall forum search (as noted in note 1. above).
