I'm a little disappointed at the lack of updates we're getting for this model. Last time we got one each month, but this time it's been almost radio silence since it was approved.

Really? I recall little updates the first time around. I thought TOMY was not very good with updates so wasn't expecting much this time around. I hope they do show us something in the next couple of months. Really really curious to see...anything! LOL

I've checked and still have emails from them about it on the 15th or 16th of almost every month. It was every month for the first 6 - 9 months, then quieter towards the end. I'm very curious too.
Yeah I'm guessing because of the debacle last time they don't want to over promise or show pictures until they are sure. The last few months have flown by and we are only 9-10 months away. Just around the corner fellas.

This particular Enterprise model will probably cost a crap load to ship across the pond, then on top of that a couple hundred buck$ EU import fee, and if I'm lucky the package will end up in the hands of DHL, and they will want an extra fee because I live on an island(illegal according to Swedish law, something I've read, but that does not stop them).
Could somebody invent transporters like within the next 6-8 months, pretty please? Beaming tech might be expensive too though.

Happy New Year! We are currently working through debugging the tooling stage. As part of this, we are going to be receiving our first tooling samples of this unit and can’t wait to share some first shots with you next month.
We are also planning to meet with Gary Kerr in February to review the sample and get his feedback on how we can continue improving this model.

They are probably playing it safe with the updates this time. That update had nothing of substance so it probably didn't get sent out.
