Enterprise Refit -signup.tomy.com

I'm gonna be honest, the very first thing I saw when looking at the prototype was that the angle of the side of the saucer looked a bit off. I'm sure (well, reasonably sure) that they got their top men working on it.

The angle of the side of the saucer is perfectly correct (red lines Gary Kerr drawings, gray is factory CAD)

One possible source of confusion on the "saucer edge" issue is that the Refit sides are much more upright than the more severely angled TOS saucer edge. Seeing both ships next to each other emphasizes the difference.

I'm a little surprised we're not seeing a more significant surge in sales since the vid dropped. Only about 20 more pledges. those guys got almost like 7 million followers. guess the vein is pretty tapped. it's only been a few hours and 20,000 views tho, maybe it takes a minute.

You are correct, except for rectangular mirror base,.....

and,.....

No Support for SAUCER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Otherwise perfect!!!!

You referring to those two spaghetti supports? Did they say they were definite or they still working to get rid of them? I would imagine they'd be "optional", like the saucer support for the TOS, just not officially advised, yea?

Yes. That's what I think as well, I just want to make sure there is nothing on the saucer. He said in the video he hopes to get rid of it, but it might ne necessary. I am assuming it's the same as with the TOS. For liability. Mine in no way needs the saucer support.

I thought the Same. It's now at 4653 so about 34 since last night. They should still make 5k easily.

Interestingly there has been a SIGNIFICANT dip in the TOS aftermarket prices, dropping from ~$2.5k to ~$1.6k-ish since mid august.

I think'll it'll probably head north again as we approach Trekmas but I didn't really foresee that drop. perhaps some "fun money the wife don't know about" wishlists are being reshuffled.
