REPLICA FAQs
Will there be interior details of the Officers' Lounge?
Yes, the interior details of the Officers' Lounge will include seats, tables, plants, and more.
Does the Detailed Hangar Deck have interior details?
The model’s Hangar Deck will replicate the Hangar Deck from the movie but will not include any shuttlecraft, pods, or people.
Will the registry numbers on the saucer and nacelles be lit?
They will be lit on the upper saucer, and the insignia on the underside of the saucer will be lit by the lights on the base. The numbers on the nacelles will
not be lit.
Will there be a cover to hide the plug if the ship is removed from the base?
No, we are not adding a cover to this section of the ship.
Will the replica have sound effects?
No, this replica will not feature sound effects, as we feel it would decrease the overall quality of the product. When we create collectibles at this size, it’s hard to find speakers that produce a high enough sound quality for the cost - speakers at that small of a scale tend to make the sound tinny, which can make the product feel more like a child’s toy than a high-end collectible.
Will the ships be numbered?
No, they will not be numbered.
CAMPAIGN, SHIPPING, AND SUPPORT FAQs
Can I add additional replicas to my order?
Unfortunately, there isn't a way for backers or our team to manually adjust the replica quantity of your pledge, so we recommend creating a second pledge (you can use the same account). The only real difference is that you'll have two pledge IDs rather than one.
If you’d prefer to keep track of only one Pledge ID you can send us a cancellation request via email (
tomyplus@tomy.com) and we can manually cancel your initial pledge, and then you can re-pledge for the number of replicas you would like (Up to 3 per Pledge ID).
If I change my mind can I cancel my pledge?
Yes, you are able to cancel anytime before the campaign ends (September 15th at 11:59pm Central). However, backers are unable to cancel orders from their account and will need to email
tomyplus@tomy.com to request a cancellation, as our team will manually cancel pledges in the backend. Please include the name and Pledge ID associated with the order you’d like to cancel.
What delivery service will be used when you ship orders?
Packages will be shipped through UPS.
If international backers have the product forwarded, are they eligible for the same post-sales support as a US/Canada based customer?
We will offer support to all customers who order, but note that since all of our units will be shipping to a US or Canada address, we will only ship replacements, if needed, to the same address.
