Does anyone have some hires pictures of the Endor commando rifle? I'm talking the real prop, not pictures of a replica.

The picture in the new VD is the same (as far as I can tell) except it has the stock from IG88's rifle and the grip is more of an early M16 grip, not the M16A2 grip like the one from Parts of SW. Oh there also looks like there are different greeblies on the left side of it than the PoSW version.

I haven't seen a real good closeup of the left side of the POSW version, but the greeblies above the magazine on the side in the pic, look different.

I'm going to attempt to build one that is mostly metal. I've found some airsoft parts that should work. For the receiver, I found a G&P M16VN (Vietnam) receiver - upper/lower - that has what looks like the correct receiver without the forward assist. I'll order one soon and let everyone know.

You can't see that right side, but I emailed them and they said it didn't have the forward assist.

For what it's worth, real M16A2 grips are available for a third the price of the airsoft one.

Also, if you want a flat-bottomed AR reciever that doesn't need filling in the bottom where the magazine would go, a few are made for the CA market.

Problem is we can't export AR lowers to Germany.
Airsoft is the only way to go unless he can procure a live lower in country.
I hope that upper in the red wolf link is correct...seems a metal airsoft M16 lower should'nt be too hard to find.
The upper you are looking for is the original M16 also called the SP1, no forward assist or shell deflector.

Thanks Matt...I have a real SP1 upper as you know.
I am also able to get a real AR15 lower here in germany, but they go as high as 500-1000 EURO .... :eek
That why I was hoping to get a real lower from another source OR finding a metal airsoft combo.
BTW: I purchased a Marushin/MGC M16A1 and the lower doesn´t fit a real upper without leaving a gap :unsure
