Hey all - hoping some of you guys can help me out with this...

I'm wanting to know what the inner dimensions are for the main body of the rodd.com Endgame Tricorder. Anyone that can help me out being as accurate as possible would be my new best friend! Length Width and deapth would be great!

It's the iphone minus the phone... pretty much just a media player.

I guess people have known this was comming out for some time but it's news to me...
I plan on getting one anyway to carry around photographs but it would be SUCH a cool plus if it would fit inside a tricorder body!!!!

Not only could you load movie files onto it for a moving screen but with it's touchscreen functions, and it's wifi - someone could design an interactive webpage and stick it on the net. The page could be designed to look like a tricorder screen but have links embedded in the different aspects of the screen. That way when you click on them it would load up a different sequence and make the first truly interactive tricorder!!!

So what are everyone's thoughts on this? Have I gone completely tricorder mad?

As of right now, the iPhone (and I assume the iTouch as well) do NOT support Flash. It has been rumored that this will be included in a future update, but there has been nothing confirmed.

okay - glad to know I'm not the only one thinking of this.

Joe - were you going to try to cram yours into a tricorder too??? Not sure about the endgame but you could probably get it in a Nemesis without much trouble... I just did NOT like that design!

Okay - so no flash - but it uses a Safari browser... is there any other format that could be used? Motion Gifs maybe?
