Emperor Palpatine Project

Hello folks,

Madog and I have been contemplating and planning this project for a while and have finally decided to proceed forward. After several months of planning, preparing and sculpting, we are about to enter Phase II, casting and molding. We would to like share our progress at this point.

Comments are welcome if you wish. More photo's to come as the project progresses. The idea here is to finally make the realization of a dream we've had for about a year come to fruition. When complete, we hope to have a pretty impressive addition to the Star Wars universe.

It's actually the base sculpt for a full mask.

Hands are on the future list for a full completion of this project. We just want to focus on the head right now, but hands are/would be a nice finishing addition to it.

It's a life size, 360 degree head and shoulder sculpt. It took me about three months to sculpt it using photo and video references of both onscreen and behind the scenes shots.
