Hey guys im in a bit of a pickle here. I usually use White ULTRACAL 30 for my latex mask molds but the last bag I picked up read "USG Gypsum Cement" with the actual powder being gray as opposed to the usual white with no other information on the bag. I have googled a bunch of stuff online to try and see if this is indeed the same as ULTRACAL 30 but I can't seem to get any information. Please help as I'm in the process of molding as we speak. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP!

I generally use Ultracal 30 as well, but I'm not sure if the gypsum cement is the same or not. My suggestion would be to test a small amount. If it does what you need it to, the material shouldn't matter too much. Just test it and gauge cure time, mold detail, and durability. Good luck.
