Elizabeth Swann Chinese Captain costume

I still new here but...

I am going to attempt making the costume Elizabeth wears through the last of POTC3. The chinese robe/dress with the leather armor and hat for my 3 1/2 year old daughter.

Anyone know of a pattern.. template for the dress robe part? I think I can handle the leather belt and misc pieces. The hat may be a problem but I can live without it if necessary.

I'm sure simplicity has something you can use as a base for the pattern. Folkwear (have to google that one) might have something as well. They specialize in the ethnic.

Now whether or not you can find them in children's sizes is a completely different story.

Sorry, can't help ya with the costume. But best of luck with it.

I'm actually not even a fan of this trilogy--although, the first movie was very good--but I must say that Elizabeth Swann has got to be the prettiest, most elegant name for a woman. Whomever came up with it for Keira's character, kudos to you.
