electronics for farscape pulse pistol

I wired a pulse pistol once, i dont know nothing about making boards for electronics so i wired the back three leds, the one led on the side, and the led in the barrel together, connected them to a 6volt with a slide switch on the side of the gun, they dident have a sequence to them but looked good, i guess you can wire the barrel led seperatly to a micro push button and put it where the trigger would go so when ya pushed it the barrel lit up, nothing fancy, very basic, hope this kinda helps!
I would say use your imagination as well. The PP's were just chunks of resin until the latter seasons and even then there never seemed to be any "canon" with regard to their lighting schemes.
