Thanks Oz, I had just been experimenting since my local supplier for 325 has been out for quite awhile.

Picked up some 325 and doing some test pulls, hopefully, I can figure out the 'just right' amount.

Finally had a breakthrough!
While the photos aren't too pretty, I'm quite proud of finally getting the resin powder to work how I wanted it. It's just dark enough, and not too bright of a finish. I used very light washes of black dyes to get into the cracks to fill in those details, but not too much.

Looks sharp.

But the best way to patina a metal cold-cast is with black shoe polish. The cake stuff in the metal cans, not the liquid kind. I use Kiwi and work it into the cracks and crevices with a cut down chip brush. Give it just a few minutes and then buff it with a cotton t-shirt rag before clear coating it. Can't beat the results.
