EFX Stormtrooper bucket shipping

Didn't they have it at Comic Con?

Why does it cost twice the price of the MRCE, I got 2 from play.com for £58 each, the EFX one is £140 from play...is it built the same way.

I think the new one is the ESB anniversary edition, with whatever changes that brings
, i think that pic is of the original version.

the new helmet is exactly the same as the MR CE. Only change is the black frown.
That's the reason I cancelled mine from redford; didn't want to spend more on the exact same helmet.

I'm the opposite. I already have an AP ANH stunt, so I didn't get the MR.

When I finally decided I wanted the MR also, because they had been going for about $100, everyone was sold out. Then they showed up secondary market at $400+.

Now I'm getting one for $150 and it's ESB to boot.

Got my helmet from cozmic today and I love this thing! I know its not 100% accurate but it's my first "official purchase" helmet purchase. From the pics and comparison shots from starwarshelmets.com, it is essentially the MR CE helmet but I'm also in the same boat with other members here getting late into the game. After watching a few CE helmets go for $200+ on ebay, I opted to purchase the regular ESB white version and the shadowtrooper version (still waiting for the ESB version to come in). With any luck, I'll be picking up a more screen accurate helmet in a few weeks so I can have the best of both worlds.

Here are some quick shots:

It is symmetrical and there are some ugly seam lines, so be warned for those looking for a more accurate helmet. After joining this forum and learning about all the bits of accuracy and inaccuracies in a variety of helmets, I opted to keep my shadowtrooper preorder and had wanted to cancel my ESB version but was to late as it had already been processed and began shipping. Now my journey moves towards looking for a AP or TE helmet for a more screen accurate bucket. For those just wanting a display piece in their home though, I think these are a much better deal then picking up a rubies.

yes, much better than a rubies. :):thumbsup

if you need an AP helmet let me know.

Got mine today from Redfordfilms. Its my first licensed helmet but I wish it came with some sort of display stand.

Looks like just an updated version of the symmetrical Don Post. Why can't they do it right when trying the symmetrical route instead of just taking one half and then copying it to the other side?

They have to have the whole helmet and mirror it onto itself and then find the average of the shapes. Only way to do it... and they have the scanning tech and 3D artists to pull it off.
