I think there kinda lacking on this, they also were supossed to release the DW sonic screwdriver, hopefully they'll release some info on the saber, i'm very interested in it

Yeah I know the original date was November then it was moved to Jan 09. I haven't heard anything since and wonder if it is still a go. I would hate to stop thinking about it and then find out later than I missed the boat on this one. I really can't wait to see close up pics of the final product. The prototype looked promising!

i guess there is too many project for eFX
they are still working on Ralph concept Vader helmet and Ahsoka's lightsaber hilt

I thought it looked cheaply made in the prototype examples. Hoping they tighten up the specs to make it look more tighter and sharper.

I agree, it needed more machined parts and less moulded plastic parts. It paled in comparison to the same idea sabers on this very board.
