EFX DARTH VADER ANH PCR HELMETS (SPECIAL and STANDARD EDITIONS)

But with all problems that EFX has now...they made a lot of great replicas in the past.

Anovos shipped only a plastic TFA stormtrooperhelmet from what I know.;)

So I think Anovos job is first to proof that they can ship better made replicas as EFX in the past.

I ordered not so much from them, but i got the TFA Helmet and the OT armor set.

Oh, and a Tribble from ST. :D

Btw. i have nothing from their ST line besides the Tribble, but i heard more than once from satisfied customers that their ST line is great.
Taking their other items aside SW into consideration, i think it´s fair game to say that they have come through with a lot more stuff than EFX.

But off course that helps noone who´s waiting for their OT SW stuff. On the other hand it makes me think why there is such a delay on the SW stuff, more than on the other lines? Maybe indeed Disney delays approvals on stuff that is not TFA?

Well, I still do not see EFX bashing a licensed competitor. I see Gino bashing a fan sculpt. It's a fan sculpt. It isn't a pull from any LFL mold. Oh, did I mention it is an unlicensed piece?

As to the SL helmet, it was pulled from the same mold as the master for EFX's Legend Vader. It has distinct neck flaring as can be plainly seen.

My point still stands. EFX has not bashed a single licensed competitor. For Gino to come out saying that the licensed pieces that EFX offers are better than fan sculpts, or a hasty pull from the Baker mold with flaring (Which helmet is NOT available to anyone but SL) is not bashing competition. It's stating a truism.

Like I said, I don't have a horse in this... but clearly you do... have at thee.... :)

Take it as you will. The ONLY horse I have in this is I want one of the SE ANH Vaders. I want to see the Scout released as the preview of it looked awesome. That's MY horse in the race.

I never said he bashed a licensed competitor. I said he bashed people offering competitive products. It just leaves a bitter taste in my mouth to come on here, a forum for people who collect and build props, and trash somebody else's work. Also, Gino's t-tracks aren't being offered as a licensed prop, he just sells them, and he bashed Roy's. When the face of EFX in this forum does that, to me, it doesn't look very good for that company. I wouldn't give EFX a dime.

You originally asked why Anovos gets a pass but EFX doesn't. I am simply saying that 1. Anovos doesn't get a pass, they get raked over the coals in here, on other forums, and on Facebook, and 2. they do get more leeway than EFX because they communicate well, they respond to messages, they issue refunds, they have an active Facebook page, and a working website. Oh, and they aren't on the forums mocking and trashing other people's work. Yes, the delays are a problem, but again, we are all used to delays.

Unlicensed fan sculpts are not competition to direct from LFL mold items. A helmet that will never see any hands other than SLs is not competition. Look, I am not as knowledgeable in Vader as Gino or a lot of the Prop Den guys, but I know more than most here. The helmets offered are NOT comparable. That is not a slam. It's statement of fact.

Why is calling a fan sculpt inferior to a direct mold pull trashing or mocking?

Call it what you will but it certainly makes you look like an egotistical *****

Have you figured out why US companies manufacture their products in China? Cause it's CHEAP to make a product!!

We've established that. You have yet to truly break down the cost, though. If you're going to offer things up as fact, you're going to have to back them up.

I'll wait.

Such an expert, then explain how costly it is yourself since you seem to boast such a knowledge to challenge it. The actual cost per mask itself is more than likely under $100 itself given the amount of plastic actually used. Disney/LFL cut factors into that but if you're gonna tell me that it's not a "cheap mask" then don't tell me it when it more than likely has a "made in china" stamped into it

Well my free Vader helmet came in today. It's not perfect but for what it is, I don't think it's bad at all. Now for the scout helmet...

I hope this turns out well for all of those who ordered the Scout. The Vader looks pretty good for plastic.
