I have a few pics - one of the mechanics of the extender, a scissor-style metal one. Meebe from yourprops - I'll check it out.
I was thinking, since I have ten pounds of Krayton beads {sample!} I would mold the grips out of it.
And I do not think I want to mess with a static closed version. Someone will inevitably mold the one I am working on - hopefully they will ask my permission. Oh and yes, I am trying to track down the current owners of the EFC licenses to get permissions... just in case!
Flexable Screen: The idea would to have a replaceable {One green, blue, red and more} fabric sheet from 3M in the screen area. Sounds expensive - but that is what samples are for! More on that when we actually go to gather supplies.
Now if you want an UBER-Deluxe model I have to ask this: Is anybody rich enough to purchase flexible LCD screens - they are real now, ya know, LOL!

I think that is the exact picture {but yours is bigger and looks brighter} I found on another site.
Could I convince you to take some shots with a ruler {either cm or Inches or both} and in some good detail shots and close-ups?

Not to mention: A Primary Source will get at least one finished replica at the conclusion of this project. In addition, they will get one of the first five made {1-3 I claim} after the tweaking model is made {sorta working maquette , I suppose}...

This is going to be a slow-n-steady project. No real-hurry, as I want to be very OCD'ish on the details!

Thanks got a few more pics there.
The replica, while OK, looks ... messy. Biggest flaw: The camera port is very irregular. But I am a nit-picker, so take that into consideration.
Good. That other replica looks rushed. I don't want it to look rushed. I want it to be as accurate and perfect as possible. This isn't a prop that pops up very often. I'd like it to be the best replica it could possibly be.
