EEAAO hot dog hands - what to cover with?

Currently working on a project to make the hot dog hands from Everything Everywhere All At Once. Ultimate plan is to 3d print molds and experiment with pouring silicone, but for now I've got rubber tubing and gloves. My original plan was to paint it all with liquid latex, as I've seen several people put together successful Ahsoka headdresses out of foam, covered with lycra, then painted with liquid latex. Alas though, as we went to paint, it didn't go on smoothly at all. Does anyone have any ideas as to what else we could use to create a skin like effect that would go over rubber and the gloves? Not really great at sewing, and gloves are a PITA to sew to make covers for the fingers.

You could try stippling it with a sponge, it creates a texture that is not skin texture but can be interesting.

I would connect the tubes to a hand of some description neaten it all up and make a POP two part mold and pour in a few layers of Latex.
Bobs your uncle you have a pair of ready made slip on gloves then a few light acrylic based paint and your done..

The Movie is cool as...
