Limited Run Edward scissor hands * last one *

Re: EDWARD SCISSOR HANDS limited run

you could just get some mannequin hands and fix them to a bored

A stand would be welcome, but isn't it possible to have them just "slide" over the stand, so they can be on display, but also taken off to wear? Mine will not be meant to were and will be mainly on display, but I would not like them to be fixed to a stand.

I have a freddy krueger glove, and this is also on display on a stand that's not mutch more than a wooden base plate with 5 sticks on them to slide the fingers from the glove over. Works perfectly. Looks more or less like this:

Depost will come your way this week, mate. Funds are on their way to my paypal account. As for the stand: indeed some mannequin hands could do the trick. A stand is not really a must for me, so just the gloves are perfect for me...

Hey BC-FX, can I ask some questions about the final gloves?
1. Were does the long spring on the right glove come from? Never seen that before... Is this accurate?
2. On the left glove, you have some of the "bony thing" that run from the wrists, attached to one of the scissors. I don't think these "boney things" are to be attached to to a scissor..

Remark 2.jpg

3. Now some of these "bony" things are not really attached by the ends of them. Aren't these supposed to be some hinge system, and shouldn't they be attached at the ends? The way they are attached now, looks a bit weird, to be honest...

Remark 1.jpg

You might have other reference pics of screen used gloves, where these details are not the same off course. So just asking. I guess we all want the best replica possible, here ;).

hope this explanes my judgment i aim to reproduce what is on the screen not in someones collection then are not always complete or set up correct

Yep, seems like it. I guess during filming, pieces will have come loose and re-attached too... Anyway, we can always "tweak" the gloves to our own likings once we received them. These are to first decent looking replica gloves I've ever seen...

Hey BC-FX, seems as this last spot is gone... Any idea on how long it will take to finish these?

If you are on Facebook, go like bc-fx.co.uk to see them being made and to see where the first set ended up! We are very lucky! These are going to be epic!

happy new year fokes, i haven't been checking this post sorry if you where starting to think vanished, been very busy January is normally so quiet for me this is why i did this run
heres where im up to all the finger parts are cast based and read for sharpening and weathering, im toying with the back of the hand bits at the moment in maybe casting them in rubber or semi rigit pu?

Thanks for the update BC. I forgot to ask, will you be including the leather straps that go around the wrist? These are going to be amazing!

Thanks for the update, BC-FX. I really should not know about the handles. Any reason you would make them out of rubber. Isn't that harder to paint?

In the meanwhile, I saw this: https://www.facebook.com/CosplayofRyanWells (scroll down a bit for a video of this guys scissorhands in motion). Although the overall look is not as great as yours, I do like the "boney stick" parts that are attached between the scissors and the hands. Maybe it can give you some ideas to even improve your gloves. ;).

hi straps are included and i will take in what you say about the boney things i cant believe all thes months ive been working on theses and am still finding out new thinks and treeking and remaking bits as i go, hat is off to Stan Winston im never gonna part with my pair and doubt i'll do another run
