Almost there... it’s a PIA not being able to remove the magazine from the Sterling though!

David, I must have missed it somewhere... why won’t you be able to remove the mag? Is it a deactivation kind of deal or is something mechanically causing that?

Looks great! I really like the IC on top of your scope!

Was this tiny greeblie actually identified at some point or is it just your personal interpretation?

I also used an IC on my Stunt E-11 but I can’t find any real proof that it was actually identified as an IC?!
With mine I only followed other accurate replica builds

Yeah... I'm terrible with updating this thread lol...

Some recent arrivals to the collection - recent meaning over the past 6 month or so

Enjoy!

Mail call from both teecrooz and mugatu is always a good thing!

And lastly, a correct variant Fett shin tool squeegee!

I'm sure I've missed a few things... but more or less caught up... I think ;)
Did a clamp card show up in that one or will it be the next one? :p

Thanks!

I actually didn’t know about this piece until someone pointed it out to me lol. But from what I understand it’s never been 100% identified as what the piece is; but the IC chip sure does look the part

Finally got around to swapping out my tall MA205 cans for the lower profile Op Amp Motorola ones on my real parts Obi...

I've been kicking around this idea for not having to drill out the cans... i still can’t believe it worked lol

(ignore the cardboard shim... something I was trying out but it didn't work out lol)

Surprisingly as it may seem... I finally finished my first ever vintage Graflex build!

Behold, my Luke ESB lightsaber made with:
  • Vintage Folmer New York bottom
  • Vintage Graflex Inc. top
    • still debating about removing the beer tab so I'd rather remove it from an Inc. than the Folmer top that went with the bottom. Besides, I kind of like the stepped pins look over the smooth pins
  • Set of six Exactra screws with the heads cut
  • Vintage Kobold clip that's been modded/sacrificed
  • D-ring and pop rivets stolen from a Wannawanga clip
  • Vintage circuit board - I believe from an HP board?
  • Gino T-Tracks
  • Mylar tape

I gotta tell ya, notching and drilling the T-tracks are a PITA! Coupled with having to cut and file down the Exactra screw heads... not something I'd want to do again anytime soon! lol

I taped the tracks on with the intention of being able to rotate the bottom slightly in order to achieve the "Wampa Cave" track alignment, but I'm not sure if I like that so I might just take them all off and redo them, but for now, I have my first Graflex build under my belt!
