Cheers Dude, I feel like your Padawan learner. Mmmmmhh strong this force is with this one.

Had 10 mins spare when I got in today , so..............................I had a rumble throu my old ikle paints and found, Nato Brown and Olive Drab.

Its starting to get there. Also I found a 97p gold paint in my local Tesco at lunchtime, works a treat and has given a different gold tone.

I wanna lay some silver and gunmetal back over some parts and get it closer to PredatrHuntrs screens cap P1.

Aye Voila..........................Coats 7 and 8 Olive Drab and Nato Brown and a bit more lighter Gold. so coats 7 and 8 and 1/2

I give my Bio coats 9 to 13 today, Flat Aluminium, 2 types of Gunmetal, more Black and some more Olive Drab. I need to wait until the morning and daylight to give it the once over and get some pics, and possibly give it some more layers of shadows in a few places. I still need to practise my blast masks before I commit them to my Bio.

I also got myself some satin clear coat, Its a lot better than using the lacquer I was using as I got the lacquer wet and it smudged the colours underneath.

Thanks to you guys on here I've worked out that it's definitely worth using layers and layer and layers of paint rather than single heavy paint layers to get a great metallic effect. And using loads of different paints helps. The more metallics the better. Even thou its doesn't seem right Gold, Bronze and Green layers were so worth it. It really gives the paint depth and a fantastic real metal hammered weathered look.

Finally got all the paint on my Bio, amounting to 17 coats in all of individual layers not including the clear coats or detailing.

I reckon I've spent on milliputt, isopon car filler, grey auto primer, auto silver paint, clear coat and the Bio about £65 to £70 not including all the model acrylic paints and stuff other that I will use on other projects.

And I got the blast masks on and redid the nose marks and fitted the mesh ..........................a few sneek peeks.

Just waiting for some tinted lens film. And I need to solder together and glue in the electrics/Led's.....................................So close I can almost taste it.

I think that the bio i have came from the same mold yours did.

Congrats! It's always awesome to have someone from the films sign the bios. Wish he could come to texas but they can never get him. I hear he asks crazy fees to appear at cons.

Hi All,

Bit of an update,. I went to the Ironman 3 premier in Leicester Square tonight and after 5 hours of off and on torrential rain I got the director to sign my bio. Shane Black. Hawkins.

I'll get some pics up in a couple of days, just his sig no quotes from the Predator.

I asked him to write

"That's right mother fukka **** happens" Lt Harrigan and then sign his name. But he wouldn't write fukka, so he wrote "mother ......"

I also wasn't allowed to take any pics of him signing my mask' his people wouldn't allow it but the lady next to him from Prison Break and Ray Park the other side were havin pictures taken with people. Oh we'll I'm glad he signed it. I did pop back and took some of him from a far thou, he he he.
