I WOULD LIKE TO EMPHASIZE THAT THIS IS NOT AN ENTERPRISE FOR PROFIT. THIS IS A CUBSCOUT AND BOYSCOUT FAMILY EVENT. WE WILL BE LUCKY TO MAKE ENOUGH FROM THE NOMINAL ADMISSION TO COVER EXPENSES.

Yes, I am looking for a few good men or women. Dead ones would be even better.

Let me explain:

I've always been huge on Halloween, a fact that is well known at my place of employment. So when a co-worker decided to volunteer to organize his tri-county area Scout Halloween-fest, who did he call upon - out of the blue - to assist him in making the event and hay-ride better than last year's admittedly lame event?

That's right. Me. :angry

Now I feel pressure to come up big. I'll be using many of my props for the laboratory and cemetery. But this event is going to have a zombie-peril theme to it... and I need bodies.

Well, er, actually what I mean is that I need volunteers to play zombies and Umbrella Corp scientists in this non-profit scouting event. Last year's event had between 500 and 700 atendees. The event is taking place in a park near Yale, Michigan. The event will be from 5:00 pm to 12:00 am on Saturday, October 28th, 2006.

We need people to play zombies. We need people to play scientists. We need people to play soldiers or law enforcement types. We need people do make up for the zombies. We need people for various supporting roles.

This is no profit, so there is little or no pay involved. Pizza, cider and doughnuts will be provided.

Let me know if you'd like to help out. I can be reached at > outlander@comcast.net < and 586-260-5072.

Thanks for you attention,

Jeff A. Simon

Wow - 500-700 kids? That's a lot of soiled underwear. :p

Since this is coming up so quick, I'll stick this for a few days.

I would love to help, but I volunteered for the Toledo Zoo Pumpkin Path with about 17,000 coming through the weekend.
Jeff already signed up with the scouts, so I could not get him down along with a show of his stuff here due to the prior commitment, so we are doing a hundred or so pumpkins with Linus sitting out and a shot down War ace dog house in the background.
I will be helping with the scouts down here on Friday night with the haunted scout camp Miakonda event, but the wekend is booked rather heavily for me. Wishing you the best for a great time there Jeff. Wish I could be up there as well.
