Early interest in boots

Hey there. My wife in the Philippines has access to some great clothing and shoe makers there and I have had several guys locally and on the dented helmet say they are interested in us doing a run of Boba Fett and Jango fett and clone troopers and storm trooper boots at a much better rate than else where. But if you are interested in this let me know just so I can see how hard we need to work on this. Also, if you have deminssions, colors, materials etc. that the boots are to be made of that s a huge help plus all the pic I can get my hands on so they ate movie accurate.

I have my caboots of the Fett ones which I love and those have to be the easiest to make since they are canvas the others are leather or other materials. I was thinking on the clone troopers to go to the place where they make the Rebok knockoffs and have them get rid of the tie closers and make a velcro pull over closer of the top part of the boot. and have the soles made in gray and the shoes made in white leather. the troop boots in white patent leather or vinyl, and the Jangos are just odd ones. But I got some great photos of the orignal shoe. ken cole pit crew boot. or what ever

Good, accurate clone boots would be nice. It can't be too hard to outdo the CABoots.

To offer some positive hope on what Phillipino-made boots could look like, I had these made 2 years ago (a few pair anyways). For $50 a pair, zero communication with the maker and only a couple of reference photos, these actually work pretty good for a start. A co-worker was from there and she took the photos to the PI and brought back the shoes.

Going outside the box on this one, but how about a nice accurate pair of Luke Bespin boots? Currently there is nobody making an accurate pair. There was a thread a month back by an RPF user who made a pair of motorcowboy ones VERY accurate by entirely refinishing them. There should be a pair available ready to wear.

The material should be a medium tan suede, slightly darker than the Bespin fatigues.

Any chance of good, cheap TIE pilot boots, or Han ANH?

I know the German jack boots can be found on eBa, but not for my honkin' huge 13 feet!

And yes there are great Solo boots out there, but I just can't justify the price. I just want a decent boot for a decent price. Doesn't have to be perfect. Got my Fett obsession for that! Just want a good costume for going to Halloween parties with my kids.
