DuckTales Remastered - Capcom to revive classic NES game

Okay i'm on board to get a copy of it for sure. More companies should be doing this. Sadly why do i have a feeling this is going to be a download only and not on a disc.
 
Personally I hate when they take classic games and redo the graphics. The 8bit look was part of the charm that made it great!

Oh well, as long as they keep the moon theme I'm good. :D

I hope they plan on remaking Chip & Dale: Rescue Rangers as well!
 
I remember playing Ducktales at my friend's house and bugging my mom for weeks to get the game for me lol. The disney games from Capcom never failed to deliver.

Well, the first article linked said it would be available as a download for the XBox 360, Playstation 3, and WiiU, so I think your feeling is pretty accurate.

Am I the only one who does not remember this game? I've been seeing pants-wetting excitement for it all over social media, and now here, and I can NOT for the life of me remember it.

Show me a remake of Maniac Mansion, though...

yeah i saw it was download only. I'll still get it but i hope it's reasonable and not 1200 points. I'd love to see Maniac Mansion and Day of The tenticle on consoles again. A lot of retro gamers would just go nuts for stuff like that BUT it has to be done right. The x-com remake proved that old school games and gameplay styles can still work if you let fans make the game.
 
It used to annoy my mom that i'd play something at my friends and within a week we had to go rent it lol. Which wasn't easy as there weren't any big rental chains around yet.

There was something really special about that game. Tons of secrets and great controls. It was almost as good as megaman
 
ERMAHGERD!!!!

The only way this could be made better is if the DLC also includes the unaltered original as well. :love:love:love
