dry brushing predators loin-cloth

hi all

just looking for another bit of advise

im doing this model here and so far so good im onto the preds loin-cloth whatever you want to call it haha
i have painted it saddle brown but if you look at the picture of it when its complete obviously he has dry brushed also
im just wondering what color would i use to dry brush? and if its the saddle brown lightened how light would i go with it?
