Just finished our prototype Henley based on the vintage one used in Drive:

I even designed a more vintage styled label instead of our usual one:

I'm wearing a size small in the photo. I was thinking of adding a little more length to the final production run, but now that I see the photo, I'm thinking it might be fine. Maybe 1", just to be safe. Other than this, I'm very happy with the prototype and will be keeping all the details the same. The shirt is a nice ivory color and has a great feel. I'll be offering these in four sizes from small to extra large. I'll post when the final product is available.

No, these will only be available in ivory. And yes, they have the wide band on the sleeve.

That's excellent! For my taste, I wouldn't add too much extra length on. Also interesting that you are working in set sizes, I quite like that idea for a some garments.

Indy, Fantastic job! that's perfect! Pretty darn screen accurate. Yeah don't alter the length too much or at all, that's actually just right looking. If anything, yeah maybe an 1" to be safe, that's actually a good idea especially for some of us taller folks. When are these going to be offered? I think if I can, I'll grab 2 or 3 myself!

Not sure of the production time, but probably about six weeks. I think we'll go 1" extra on the length, that's it. I'll keep you all posted.

These do run fairly small. Although I'm wearing a small in the photo, the medium would probably be a better fit for me.

I've got a very rough idea of costs, but would rather not say at the moment as we're still in the prototype stages, so I could be off. It shouldn't break the bank though...

Wow, I love it! I love my two J-crew henleys but one can never have too many henleys.

BTW, so are the sleeves going to be ribbed like the original? Also, how do you think these will fare in the dryer? Lots of shrinkage?
