Dredd Lawgiver MKII (finished PG2)

Hey guys, I have started making a lawgiver based off of Skeg's blueprint. The pieces were cut by member Justinian from acrylic and now I'm making it. What do you guys think so far?

Please note, I am making a few changes to suit how I like. I'll be molding it soon, it may go into the JY (Skeg permitted it) if you guys are interested in it.

Looks AWESOME Mr. P! I was hoping to make one myself. May I ask what airsoft gun you bought? Keep up the great work!!

Whoops, sorry. I forgot to post that. These base gun is a G17 airsoft gun. I totally dismantled it before the build got underway though. The only thing I left was the grip, receiver and magazine. Everything else was scrapped. I didn't want this gun to be too wide.

I'm not sure either. I've seen someone made the piece over the screen separate then laid it over the top and that's about it so far

What kind of screen are you looking to use? Maybe I can help source one..

also.. static? or you looking for a way to 'control' it as well?

(maybe a tiny/thin, edge lit, piece of acrylic as a plan "B"?)

So I was at the Dollar Store today picking up some toiletries:lol and spotted a toy gun. It looked like an excellent match for a certain Judge Dredd Lawgiver project. So I picked it up even though I already bought my G17. Whatcha think?

I really don't care either way. I try and keep my electronics as simple as I can. That's actually a cool idea with the edge lit screen though.

I was thinking EL tape earlier. But I like your idea.

I've seen guys use static lcd screens on theirs. They look cool too, I have no clue how to make that work though.

First casting pulled today. Well, second casting, the first one was a failure. This is a hollow cast and its awesome!
