I'm thinking both mags removable for the ultimate prop. Cool 9mm (.45 for me) in the Glock mag and then somehow arrange the various ammo in the forward mag. Make sure one of each from the film is shown in the window.

Is there any "official" blueprint on how the internals actually work.

I am asking here because there was mention of a removable magazine on this version. Will that be Glock, front, or both?????????????

I don't know of any official blueprint beyond maybe the odd production sketch. Front mag is planned to be cast separate but I don't know how Shawn will set it up exactly- he mentioned using magnets to hold it in place, which is probably the best way to go.

I don't see a removable Glock magazine working for this. (You rarely see removable mags in resin handgun casts for a reason.) This is intended to be a durable, but very accurate, casting that can withstand some trooping. I sure as hell don't want thin resin walls where I'm gripping this gun!

That's how I assumed it worked as well. I also assumed, for this build, that the front mag is what has magnets on it which is a-ok with me.

Are there any plans to make the holsters?

I am currently working with a local Kydex maker to construct accurate magazine pouches and plan to have one to photograph and post within the next week or so.

Once he gets the magazine pouches down we plan to work on the holster. With this offering, the holsters can be molded to fit this version of the Lawgiver.

Could you add me to the list of interested as well? I don't know for sure if I'll end up getting one, but I'm definitely interested. It all depends on when they are ready and how much money I have then.

Added! Don't know exactly when they will start shipping, but if I had to guess I'd say late march-april depending on Shawn's schedule.

I will also soon have a couple shots of how the master model looks painted.

Just a quick update: According to Shapeways, the print made from Joe's excellent work will ship Monday and I finally located a suitable Glock airsoft which is en route now. With luck I should be able to start on the pattern by next weekend!

Hey gang,

Just letting you know that there was a slight hiccup with the print, so it'll be another 8-10 days before a Shawn can start molding. No worries though.
