DREDD (2012) -Judge Dredd Replica Helmet - Raw Cast to Fully Finished

Hey Guys,

I just wanted to share my Dredd Helmet finishing video I did. I've actually grown to love this movie more than the old Stallone version. ( I still love those costumes though)
I will be making the rest of this costume to go with the helmet.

The helmet base was made out of Cardboard and pepakura, then detailed by sculpting apoxie sculpt, sanded, molded, casted, trimmed, painted weathered etc.

Great work on the helmet!

I love both films, but let's be honest, Carl Urban really captured the character for me. Say nothing of the more recent version straight-up being a great action movie in the vain of The Raid.

But man, I do so love firm 90's aesthetic of the Stallone film.
