Hey everyone, new guy here, sorry if this has been posted before but, is there any specific size for dreads? I plan on using backer rods but there are different diameters. Can anyone tell me the the different diameters of your dreads? I think most people have 3-4 different diameters. It'd be awesome if I can get measurements in length of each different diameter too :)

dreads must be long enough to have a good looking movement not look like a porcupine ,thickness must be proportional to the length !I think it's not a rule somewhere for this parameters , each predator looks different from other ,make three different sizes ,longer ones to the top of the head and others put it gradually as far as cheeks! :)

What Impaiatu is saying is correct make them so they have a nice swing to them. Generally most dreads will be about 24 inches long,
