Dread length and width

So whats the general width and length for dreads? I was thinking 1'', 3/4'', and 1/2''. Does sound right?

It really is your choice many like the AVP long dreads, but personally i like the short P1 dreads.

Your thicknesses should work just fine. Depred is right. Use your own judgment on length. I prefer dreads about 18" inches long.

My dreads are 20" long at 1" diameter. I have some 5/8" in there at various lengths. But like everyone else said, its up to you.
