The boots he is wearing are chelsea ankle boots. These types of boots are mostly used for horse riding, but I'm not sure if the ones he is wearing are meant for that as they have thicker soles and such. Having the exact same shoes aint too important, but if anyone has seen ones just like these, please let me know.

The sweater he is wearing is made of a synthetic fabric that is very smooth and shiny and seems to be nearly impossible to get, even though I'm wearing one at the moment, but with a tiger graphic on it... But since I have a sewing machine and these sweaters were really cheap, I will possibly buy two and make them into one full black sweater. But if anyone knows where to get a full black sweater like this, please let me know.

When he is hanging from the cross you can see the fabric upclose, and it appears to be wool or a wool-blend.

And here when it all bursts into flames can you see the fullness of the coat from underneath.

So, has anyone seen a coat just like this one? Its a very simple design with no pockets or anything else complicated, just a very long suit it would seem.
Also if you havnt seen anything like this before, do you know of anyone who could make this coat pretty accurate? I suppose a low price wouldnt be possible then, but I hope so, or I will have to ask for trading once again...

Thanks.

Well if you don't care about the boots being a perfect match you can always go to ebay and look up jodphur riding boots. and be set:thumbsup

The coat would need to be custom made but what is really handy is that it would be relatively easy to get it custom made online due to the really loose fit. You will probably just need a test mock up of the waist up for fit and then they can happily adjust the flare accordingly.
If you can get a clearer shot of the upper back it would help greatly too, there is a deep pleat at centre back and it looks like the pleat is sewn right to the neck but there may be a yoke there. Slim chance due to the fullness between neck and shoulderblades, but possible. It also looks like there might be a pleat each side. The basic shape is an a-frame with pleats CB and sides it's just making sure to get the right angle of the side seams and thus the flare. I think the CB seam is cut just off the straight (the pleated section widens towards the hem a little more than if it was just pleated) but nothing like as flared as the sides. The folds start from the shoulder rather than the bottom of the armscye which may make it a tiny bit harder to fit.

The shirt has a sheen and drape that is almost identical to one of my long sleeves tees. Mine is pink though. It's 93% cotton the rest is spandex. I think it's a long staple cotton which gives my tee a gentle sheen. Well it did have until I accidentally got dye transfer and had to wash it several times.
Then again I'm only going by these images so the fabric may be a microdenier poly or nylon or rayon.. or a mix.

Thats good to know that it would be easy to make then.
I dont know if I should give anyone my waste size now to make it after, now that I'm pretty much skinny, but am now working out, so will hopefully be bigger soon. I was hoping that someone who made this sort of stuff for a living could make it after a standard size like medium or large so that it would fit me now and later when (if) I get any bigger. Giving someone my size now would probably make it too small later on.

I will try getting some more photos of the back. I have no idea what any of the things you said means, but you're probably right, perhaps you could make me one?:love

The shirt actually appears duller in that photo than when you see the video actually moving. I found this shirt some while ago that was of the same fabric, or atleast just as shiny, and its made of 100% polyester. Only thing is that there's a big tiger on the front of it, but I bought it anyway since my sweet girlfriend loves tigers. My plan if not locating a full black shirt like this is to buy two of the tiger ones and sewing ones back onto the other one, then making a black and shiny tiger pillow for my girlfriend to have:$

I can put up a photo of the shirt here soon.

Thanks alot for the help.

No meaning to look evil, its just the flash and the matter than I'm looking upwards.

I noticed in the photo that it appears more "sparkly" than the one he is wearing, asif the one he's wearing is smoother somehow, still the one I have is made of polyester and is very shiny.

Can anyone see if he is wearing a polyester shirt or if its something else thats smoother? I dont really have much knowledge about fabrics and such, I just need the costume.

Thanks

Might get some money for this thing really soon so that I can order one custom made.

But has anyone seen a coat like this in any store what so ever?
Any polyester shirts or shoes like those?

Once this costume is done, one will meet up with my old girlfriend who told me about this movie and will take lots of photos at scary dark places.
Also I am to be in a Vampire fan film as the main Vampire, that will be really cool.

You can see pretty clearly in the 2nd/3rd pic that there is indeed a yoke. Also, I think the center back pleat is the only one on the coat. What you're seeing on the sides (at least I'm pretty sure) is the fullnes of the coat simply draping over on itself. The overall pattern seems to be a variation on the Fin De Siecle/Turn of the Century motoring coat, or even an inverness without the capelet. The center front will be on the straight, and the flare will be split between the side seams. The center back flare likely comes from the pleat, and could be (as mdb pointed out) cut on the straight as well.

As for the coat fabric, it is likely a Wool Melton. Possibly a cashmere, but melton seems more likely. You're looking at $20-$30 USD a yd. maybe cheaper for you since you live in/closer to a major wool producing country. 6-7 yards should cover it. You're also looking at $200.00ish for labor depending on your connections. Just to give you an idea of what you're in for moneywise. Don't hold me to that. Its a rough estimate from someone who lives in a financially different part of the world.

I guess I'll never get to make one myself then, sounds complicated...
But thanks for the info, it will be useful for when I will get someone to make me one, will hopefully get money soon.

Yeah. I teach classes on costume construction, patterning, etc... The sad fact is that modern men's tailoring is probably the single most complicated thing you can do in the sewing world. On the flipside, Strangely enough, patterning menswear, even a jacket, is one of the easiest things to pattern.

The coat would be easy to put pattern and put together. Just a little tough around the neck and chest area.

Just talked to my ex who showed me this movie, and now she wants to buy this coat for me. I told her that it was too much but she wouldn't stop saying that it was OK, so I suppose it's OK then.

One has asked Indy Magnoli for help and am awaiting reply.

Most of the other stuff acquired, needing only the sweater and the coat now, sweater should be easy enough to find, but no coat what so ever like this anywhere yet.

Anyone know where to get one or who could make one?

I would very much like to have this one done before I move up to my fiancée so that the person who got me into this one can see the costume in person before I leave. Hopefully I'll scare the living fudge out of her.
