Hello! This is my first thread... I'm going to make a 1/6 scale Dracula costume. Well, I've chosen the white taffeta costume from "Bram Stoker's Dracula" so forget black tuxedo and large capes. For those who haven't seen the film, here's a link with good pictures: http://www.icollector.com/Gary-Oldman-Count-Dracula-white-taffeta-silk-suit-from-Dracula_i10499909
I know this is an unusual costume but I love the embroidered crest on the vest... I think it was an ancient vest, because in the first scene we can se Dracula's wife wearing a very similar vest.
The embroidery is orange and gold.
I'm looking for any suggestion, especially on patterns. I know how to draw most of them, but I don't know how to make those particular sleeves. Can you find anything on the net?
Finally, which materials should I use? The original costume was made of silk but the only shiny part are the lapels, so I'm going to use a different material. Remember that I have to work on 1/6 scale, because the costume is for a figure I'm currently sculpting.
Thank everyone for the help!
