My little fledgling Replica business has a new addition. This is a replica of the Ood from Doctor Who series two. He's all silicone and is produced using casts from the moulds used to cast the screen used heads.

Excellent, Neil.

Just rewatched "The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit" last night and was once again struck by how sympathetic the design of the Ood makes them in the story. Great work.

Ooo ooo. It's an Ood. :eek

I absolutely fell in love with these creatures when I first saw them in the The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit -- especially when their eyes suddenly glowed red and turned evil. It's been a good long while since something has freaked me out like that did. Great stuff.

Please forgive me for being unfamiliar with your fledgling company and your apparently healthy Doctor Who 'connections' Neill, but I'm absolutely amazed that you managed to have access to the original moulds for these bad boys. Simply amazing.

What would shipping run on a single Ood to the U.S.? I think I'm going to have to give this some serious consideration. B)

Hi Ripstick

It's not that amazing that I got access to the original moulds as I made the original mould as well as the original masks for Doctor Who. :)

Check out the webiste for more info and also

I can't tell you the exact cost of shipping but if you drop a line to info@mfxreplicas.com Paul, who runs the website side of the business will let you know the price. We've shipped a lot to the States so he should know the approximate figures.

Best wishes

Looks brilliant Neill.. Your range of Masks all look incredible and are a credit to all the hard work of yourself and your dedicated team at MFX. Theres never been anything close to this in film or television on offer to the public. A shining example. :)

I don't collect busts, but I just wanted to chip in and say how much I like this design - great work.

Thanks Gen

You have a nice website. Cool costumes and nice tutorials.

Also like the teeny tiny K9.

Your little fledgling Replica business is making some very nice things.

As soon as I have a little extra replica money on hand my shopping list is made already. :D

Very cool stuff. Always excited by your work Neill and this is a great evolutionary side gig step type thing. The forum on there looks good too. Where do you guys find the time?.

Looks fantastic. I'm sure my flatmate will be thinking of ways she can add this to her collection, to sit next to the clockwork droid mask.

Yes, I do come up with a good idea from time to time. :)

I'd be all over one of those if it was done correctly. :love

Not to derail this thread to much, but Cyb..

IF you do decide to sculpt a Billie, how about a lifesize...

In this pose...

Has it been removed for indecency?. :lol
