Dr. Soran's Blaster??? (why no info...anywhere)

I want to build one of these, however I can't find much info. It seems some threads have been started but didn't go anywhere. I've sent ricksprops (original builder) a pm but haven heard back yet.

The main body is a butane torch. Thats about all the info I have. Does anyone offer a kit? Does anyone have anymore info? Even the model or brand of torch would be helpful.

Cool pic.:cool Why is this prop so elusive? It doesn't look that hard. I have seached the net/ebay for "butane torches" and haven't found anything.

There was a seller offering replicas of the piece on ebay in the past two months, they were full metal, very beautiful, looked incredibly accurate!!!

Yeah I've looked at culinary sites as well. Nothing close yet. Problem is that Generations came out in 93ish? so its going to be at least 15 years old.

I am working on a kit, just don't have the time to mold the body. I have tried two different individuals to cast them for me and they both did not come through.
