Star Wars First Order Stormtrooper ARMOR kits Episode 7 TFA W/Rocketeer

Let's be civil about this:) although I agree this run has taken much longer than originally planned, it is still within the window of the wait period for many star wars armors (and those have bucks already made). I just hope this is an easier build than what I understand the anovos to be, as we may not have 6 months to assemble and paint before episode VIII
@Biogradbooth -I understand your frustration - I'm sure you could sell your spot on the junkyard and go with a different vendor.
@animefan - please make this project a priority (and maybe take the time to do a weekly update;) - if you need more funds to finish up, I would be willing to make a second deposit to help things along.

Again, let's stay civil and understand that we are all busy people with real lives outside of these hobbies.

The comparison to other armor vendors is flawed. Those are ongoing runs, with wait lists, and continuous orders being taken. This is a limited run of only 10 sets.

The issue with animefan is he is not doing the work in a reasonable and consistent manner. One only has to ask his partner, Rocketeer on this build, to confirm. This may be a hobby, but once you take money and set expectations, you are obligated to live up to those expectations.

The reason we are not already getting weekly updates is there is no progress being made "weekly". I am being civil. Civility on animefan's part would be spending more time on his posts these last six months than I have simply responding to you.

I can assure you I have been working hard on this. I have been mastering all of the parts (for the second time ) doing all of the mother molds and making all of the buck casts. It has been a lot of work. I am guilty of not posting enough pics of the progress as things went along and for that I apologize. I will post more updates on a more consistent time frame.

A few of the bucks that I finished recently that I have pics of, I will get together another update after the weekend.

Looking good! Those ankles look like quite a challenge to vac form (especially to demold) - beyond my experience level on those, certainly:) keep up the good work, man! I can see the light:)

...and it looks like you molded-in an overlap on the Thighs- is that correct? That would be super helpful, if so!

Thanks for the update.

Thanks for the update.

A few of them turned out that way, hopefully it would help in assembly. Ill put up some more new pics tomorrow also.

Anyone interested in buying my spot by reimbursing my $500 deposit? I'm tired of waiting.

Couldn't agree with you more. This is ridiculous. Obviously these guys reputation have been ruined by this poor business practice because as soon as I posted asking if anyone wanted my spot, I started receiving private messages. The messages weren't for anyone wanting my spot because no one trusts them to finish this anymore, it was just people letting me know they are sorry I got ripped off by these guys. I reported them to the mods but I was told to just ask for my money back and bow out. Of course animefan refused to do that. Its impossible to be civil on something going 17 months now with no end in sight.

Thank you sir for the timely updates. Please continue the hard work.

How are the belt and gaskets?

We have the rubber belts ready to go and the belt boxes should be ready to mold. Curtis is working on finishing up the gaskets. I will get a pic up shortly.

Have you started vac forming any of the parts you have made bucks for? Just curious because I see some potentially problematic areas, and areas that may lose alot of detail in the process:/

Getting ready to, just getting a new table set up in Curtis shop.

Couple pics of the belt and parts.

Re: Star Wars First Order Stormtrooper ARMOR kits Episode 7 TFA W/Rocketeer

Those indents and little grooves have me worried on vacuum forming - there doesn't seem to be plastic thickness factored into the bucks - also, you're probably gonna need to drill holes in the recessed areas to get the plastic to form into them.
