I made a pair of spare magazines for mine.
You can see that the "spare mags" are too short to really represent spare mags.
I display the gun, 2 spare mags, a cleaning rod and 24 rounds of ammo
in a green velvet lined presentation box.
After I finished the scrolls, I cut a piece of dense, kneeling pad foam to simulate the mag follower.
I "loaded" three rounds of live M-1 Carbine, FMJ ammo for the photo.

I just came home from vacation and found my TV version on my stoop. It must've been one of the ones that had been opened by customs, because the box seemed to be a bit torn up and the packing inside was definitely ripped apart and clumsily re-taped, but none of that matters because...
THIS THING IS INCREDIBLE. I am beyond pleased, it's amazing, thank you Sarednab! Years spent putting my Mal costume together, and this is the final piece; I'm about to see how it fits in my holster by Badger.

I have a Sidkit. Unfortunately, not one of these fine pieces by Sarednab. I also have one of Badger's excellent holsters. It's like they were made for each other.

As I already explain in private, it is all solid, it is don for aging on the plating. Each gun have a different aging, and in some parts of each guns there are line of aging

I got it off eBay for $69 with free shipping. They both fit perfectly, I was worried at first, as it felt tight against glass but works great. Has two latch's on top that lock (cheap lock) but will keep kids out of it. This pic shows the label I used http://www.ebay.com/itm/23111709116...49&var=530305133396&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
