if this is not the right place to post this, please delete it, but i ran across this tonight.

metal side release buckle

I would be interested in the TFA helmet in the raw state. I can and have sewn leather in the past and might be willing to work something out in trade if you want?

What's the likelihood of the WS helmet being complete by the film release? I'd be interested in WS helmet if it'll be complete by then (shipped to Aus) as it's needed for a convention in April. (awesome work btw).

Well it depends on what you mean by complete? If you read the thread... I have noe leather or straps for it.. And being complete for april would be nice but I cant promise that right now..

Sorry, I should have been clearer. I meant completed raw cast or painted (the two options you listed for the WS helmet). Thanks for letting me know. I'd love to get one, but unfortunately we need it for a convention so I'll have to pass at this stage. I'll definitely keep an eye on your work though!

Tremendous work Curtis, as always. Can't wait for a finished product!

Re: Captain America The Winter Soldier Helmet from 3D model **new print pics post #11

This is brilliant work, and it totally blows me away, and so I hope it's OK if I ask this, but looking at the newly posted printed piece, does it seem to anyone else that the forehead area of the helmet is a little domed outward? Looking at photos of the movie prop the line going up from the place between the eyes seems fairly straight, and the forehead area is flatter and set back a big further than the printed prototype looks in the photo. Or am I wrong?

Sorry but for some reason I'm not being offered the option to upload a photo from my computer, but here are two images of the Internet.

I figure now is the time to bring this up before anything goes into production. Thanks!

I've been looking for the buckle for a while and have a found some good options (links below)

metal side release buckle for 5/8" webbing

I am curious as to the size webbing your print will fit?

I'm thinking it's 5/8" webbing that was used (found that too in a great brown color, link below)

To me, you must be seeing things. I don't see it.
