does your disks rest on the holder on your back or do you have some way to attach them onto it so it does not come off while walking?

What do you paint your foam with? A sealer?

we used acrylic emulsion first for this. then spray paint black. :)

Amazing looking costumes. Awesome job you two

haha.:lol thanks.

I think the rubber is EVA foam since that's what most companies use for "flip-flops" for yanks "thongs" for us Aussies.

:confusedThat sounds like it would be painful under pants!!!!!!!!!! :confused

@iszabel! Great builds as usual! Keep up the good work.

I hope to get to some foam armor soon! Alice Kingsley is just waiting to be made!!!:love

thanks. :) we'll wait for your alice kingsley. :)

I've used L-200 alot, and it comes in different thicknesses, and even black (which ends up looking like a very dark grey). It's great stuff. I'll be doing this very same technique for my daughter's suit. Very, very nice work!

As usual very inspiring work. I'm always floored with how fast Don works on these projects. The photographic effect with the tape is quite convincing, too. :thumbsup

These costumes are just unbelievably beautiful. I can't even begin to fathom how to work with the materials you did. I can't wait to see the fully finished costumes! :)

he used acrylic emulsion first then spray painted it flat black. :)

What sort of acrylic emulsion? I am looking to seal some foam on my costume and paint it black, plasti-dip or performix as it's know as in Australia is just way too expensive.

Please meet Ms. SAMantha Flynn. HAHA!
D.R playing with Quorra's wig. LOL.
