Robert & I had been invited to be judges at one cosplay event which was held yesterday. It was a surprise for us because it would be our first time to be judges and we feel we're not that credible to be one. 
He decided to make a mech test because we wanted new costumes. Hence me making an ironette (refer to other thread.lol.)
He used rubber then detailed it with wires and other stuff he found at the house. He used thin metal strips and glued it into rubber to make it look better. He used the reactor from his IM suit.
He only got to finish one arm because he just did that overnight but he's planning to make the other arms and the leg parts to complete it. :rolleyes
We realized that its hard to be judges. :lol But it was fun at the same time. It's actually the 1st time we got to relax during a con as we were just sitting there, in plain costumes (came in as pepper potts or probably some random blonde girl hahaha). We get to see what people were doing, what cosplayers were doing...we were normal for one con. hahaha. Also, the organizers were very nice to and took care of us very well - freebies - food & goodies. :lol
Our plan really was... after the judging stint we'll still costrip - robert as IM & me Ironette but in the end i was the only one to change to the ironette costume because robert got lazy because the area is a little hot since it's an open area and its quite hard to put on the suit. So he just kept the mech test on and continued to be just some random guy at the con. lol.
