yup. it does. on selected parts like cod piece & mostly the legs & shoes.

if the paint cracks, why not use a stretch metallic fabric on the suits?
Stretch it and glue it down. Then you dont have to worry bout paint chips
or cracks

could be an option but it wouldn't look authentic enough. i don't think it'll be good for paint.
