Don Post Pig Mask

Hi everyone. Unfortunately, I have no new updates on my own reconstruction of the Panasonic RN-305, but I need some help from readers who happen to own a Don Post pig mask: I need HQ profile-shot images of the Don Post pig mask to help sculpt a Jigsaw Pigface mask from the SAW movies, and if there are any people who would be kind enough to send pictures of their Don Post pig mask, it would really help me A LOT in the sculpting process. Thank You. :)

Does anyone have direct left and right side-profile shots of TOTS-issued Don Post Pig mask? My apologies if I'm seemingly in desperation, but was only able to digitally sculpt the front of the mask and I need side profile shots to assist me in digital sculpting in the Blender Software as my reference images. Here is a picture of the said digital sculpt WIP. If someone can help me out, it will be very much needed. :)

I have been scrambling around trying to find a solution to have a TOTS-issued Don Post Pig mask, in whichever chance possible with very little luck, unfortunately. But if anyone looked back at some previous posts I've made I was working on a digital sculpture, modified from a pre-existing pig's head model, with very little resources as my reference images, and I was insecure of how well it would turn out with a lot of work to do. I don't know how accurate I will get, but does anyone wish to see me continue with making this mask? If anyone's interested, please leave a like, or comment as it will help show support.

Sincerely Yours, SC

Alright, so I came across a few pictures in the process of trying to find reference images, and I noticed how in most shots the eyes were mirrored symmetrically, which I had to re-shape the mask's left eye socket. And here is the before and after results.

lowkey curious about how you've done this
If your talking about how I got the eyes symmetrical, I just flipped the image horizontally and moved the image in the right spot where I would want to sculpt over it and used the X-RAY to kind of use a "Sculpture Retracing". If your talking about the whole mask, there are other posts I have made on this subject that will help give more details. :)

I'm sorry for those who I've kept waiting on new progress on the pig mask (problems with the vertices in edit mode), but I here is more progress on my tackle on the Don Post Pig Mask. As you can see, I actually added gory textures like the real deal mask to the back of the head to further imply it was supposed to be a pig's head that was decapitated from it's body. And I do intend to patch up the neck hole to aid the sake of the molding process. The gore textures came from another rendered AI-generated 3D model I had generated from a HD image from a 6 o'clock promo-shot of T.O.T.S's "Blood Pig" mask, which yes, I know is different to the actual Don Post Pig mask, but it was the only good image shot of gore in any SAW-themed pig mask I could find that could be used to create the 3D model . And I got a question... Did the actual first screen-used Jigsaw Pig mask have the front edges on the neckline shredded up? I literally SAW a still image of the pig mask (I don't remember if it was from the first SAW Film), but it had a shredded up neck and that mask looks it was or based on the Don Post Pig mask. Does anyone know for sure? As I have mentioned before, everyone please leave a like if your interested in the projects I'm working on as it will show me your support. THX! #JIGSAW IS THE LAW

There were two masks used for Saw 2004. The gore on the front of the neck was created by cutting up the back of another Don Post Pig mask into the shape of tissue / gore strands which were then glued to the front of the mask.

ask that was used for the film was actually never seen on screen, but was used on one of the promotional posters. It's very similar to the hero mask (the one seen throughout the film) except it doesnt have stitches, and instead has cuts and damage around the face. Both of the masks used were modified Don Post Pig masks, as were all the masks from Saw 1-8.

If you need any more photos of the masks let me know, I have a lot. Personally, I think the Saw 1-3 pig masks are the best.

I would be very grateful with what help there is with the pig mask. Please do send more pictures of Jigsaw's pig mask. I have to agree with that opinion! As Rodrick Heffley puts it, "You can't beat the classics.... Yeah!"

I have just started on the "wrinkling and in-shriveling" process. And I wanted to say thanks again, Iheadland01, for the photos of the actual pig masks, as they helped me out with understanding the intensity of the wrinkled texture, and thanks again for helping me out how the gore was added along the neck. (Handshake Emoji) Very helpful. And as for the mask's right eye, I had to add a bit more to in order to make it more pronounced than it was because it kind of looked a little soft in detail. Still a lot that needs to be done, but I hope anyone who watches my videos would be given ideas never thought of before, inspire others to create, or at the least be entertained with my progress reports. More Don Post/Jigsaw Pig mask posts will be made in the future, so just stay tuned for more! ;)

Sincerely Yours, SC

I am very proud of my work so far, I DID have to tweak the ears a bit more to look like the ears from the actual Don Post Pig Mask, which was achieved in my book.(still need to add ripples and ridges along the ears) And I added more wrinkles to the sculpture to add a sense of age and decay. I had to also fix the verticies in the mask's left eye. I hope you all like the progress so far!

I plan to use a silicone jacket mold supported with a resin mother mold once the sculpture has been 3D-printed, filler primed, sanded and properly sealed with a silicone-compatible spray paint, but the one thing I plan to use, opposed to mask latex, is a urethane rubber to cast the mask, since NLR tends to deteriorate and I don't want my mask to be rotten by the time get into 30-50 years of age, so I chose an alternative. But I need some help finding a suitable urethane rubber, since I don't know anything about shores and rigidities. Does anyone have suggestions on what urethane rubber to use that mimics the properties of NLR?
