When the winner is announced, can that person create a quick tutorial?

You don't have to be the/a winner to post a tutorial on your build.
Few will be the winners and many will be the cool builds, and many
will be the curious asking "how'd you do that".......
I think it would be great if everybody took a few progress pictures
and shared at least the basics of their build.....JMO......

count me in, I am newly registered but not new to the forum, been lurking for awhile now. I am going to the dollar store tomorrow to get my supplies. Anyone have any pics of thiers yet?

Hi y'all, I'm pretty new to posting but I've been lurking on the forums for a little while. If I can get out to the pound store this weekend I may throw in an entry, can't promise that I'll manage it though.

And now a bit of visual candy to get everyone in the Tony Stark Mentality. here is my (nearly finished, I still wanna do a bit of tweaking) MkI Arc Reactor, made without the limitations of the pound shop.

People keep asking for pics of entries, I think pictures posted before the deadline should not be allowed. I'm sure people are anxious to see how these are turning out but it's a bad idea. They weren't allowed in the dollar store lightsaber contest and I believe it was a good policy.

Imagine if you're entering this contest, build something unique that you're very proud of, post pictures before the contest is over. Someone else sees what you've done, goes to the dollar store with your design in mind and figures out how to do it better, cleaner.
In the dollar store LS contest if the #1 winner had posted pictures early can you imagine how many cutaway lightsabers we could have seen?

i'm a bit out of the loop , as we had a house fire and were still waiting on getting the house cleaned so i may not be able to enter after all .

bit of a shame is i'v got all the stuff i need but can't find all the recipets

Damn. just re-read the rules and realised I don't have photos of all my raw materials before I got started. I may have to go back to the store and by extras just to photograph (if they still have the same stuff). I have remembered to take some in-progress pics though.

I too am going to have to withdraw, got all the materials I needed but simply will not be able to make the deadline (*grumble grumble* Stupid day job, canceled vacation time, *grumble grumble*). I will complete it eventually and post pictures but for now I need to focus on what pays the bills for at least 12hrs a day. My offer of prizes still stands.

the contest ends on july25th and then there will be a voting thread created for submitting entries.

Every time I think of doing another contest, someone else puts something on. THANK YOU SO MUCH. No, really, I'm lazy, and it is really nice when someone else takes the rains. :lol I like this idea, and the prizes look great. good luck to all.

idk if its a good idea or not, but i would pm the guy whos contest this is with your final pics if you arent going to be here, that way he can post them for you on the 25th.
