Dogmeat's Aquatic Predator build, finally pictures !!

Been lurking here and a member quite awhile. I've made a few good friends here and have received nothing but good things and good times. I'm very fortunate to have stumbled across this place and a big thanks goes to all the great people I've met and have encouraged this little creation. Finally I've gotten some pictures worth posting to show what I've been working on. First I'll show my suit from 2009. Then lastly the upgraded armor for 2010.

I plan to piece the suit out and take individual pics, I'll try to get the gauntlets up first.
The right is bladed w the blades at 45 degrees and the left is a speargun w two spears and a hose that runs to the back which is two cylinders, one for compressed air to shoot spears and other for respirator. Sadly the spear gun doesn't work but that's the concept behind it.

What did you use as skin?

The skin is a spiderman deluxe suit similar to Mr I suit. I coated it in black plasti dip then while wet threw sand at certain spots to add texture then when it dried continued adding coats of black w a li'l white and grey. Since I was goin' aquatic I wanted to do colors like a manta ray. Simple.

As for the 2009 armor is was all cardboard. The li'l cardboard corners that are moulded for shipping and receiving cabinets. They're made to protect the corners.
