Does this storm trooper flashlight look familiar to anyone?

I was searching through boxes of my old stuff in my parents attic to sell yesterday, and came across this. I vaguely remember playing with it when I was little. It's got a definate storm trooper vibe going on, but the body looks like some 50's era robot. On the bottom of the feet it says "MFG IN HONG KONG EXCLUSIVELY FOR DYNO MDSE. CORP." I tried to scare up some info on google, but I can't find anything. I suppose it could be a coincidence that it looks like a storm trooper, but I don't know. If anyone has more info about it, that'd be great!

yes i havea couple of bootleg ST robots very similar but larger of course

That was made in the 70's. There are similar Stormtrooper inspired robots from that era.

Many japanese toys companies made multiple stormtrooper/robot knock offs during the 70's. I've never seen a flashlight version before. Very cool and rare piece.
