Does the Jlong P1 fit into an MR P2 body?

As per the title. I know this was discussed somewhere here, sometime ago but I can't find the thread.

Can anyone confirm that John's P1 kit when built will fit into a MR Phaser 2 body.

No, it does not fit. It is too long and the front of the P1 does not fit into the hood of the Phaser 2.

It might be possible to trim it to fit while building it, but I don't know for sure.
