Does anyone know what ever happened to Uwe Fischer?

Uwe Fischer was a name that use to popup on this site from time to time. His SW reference photos were so important, back in the day. I still, to this day, run to them to solve parts finds that need solving.

So my question it this. Has anyone ever heard from him on this board (or any other boards, for that matter), and is he still active in the hobby. Maybe life just got in the way (as it does every now and again), and he just lost interest.

Just curious. Love to know if anyone has any info. Thanks.
