Doctor Who's Antiplastic Vial.

Does anyone know if the Vial used for the Antiplactis is a find item? Here is a picture from the Visual Dictionary.

It looks to me like either a perfume vial or a cryo-storage vial. The cap may be from something else though.

Hi Im just starting prop building and I was looking to do this one. I was wondering if anyone has every found a exact match. I have spent over 4 hours and cant find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Looks like it might be a simple acrylic tube, with a sealed piece on the bottom, and a larger piece as the "neck" and the metal "screw on lid" could be from a cigar tube.

Dunno what size it is though, never watched the show.

I agree, I think that is the tube a Cigar comes in (one of the kind you find a liqueur store not the expensive kind). I would start the search there.

I thought about that, but I am not a smoker. Haven't seen a glass tube with the flat bottom, but I reckon they can exist

If it's a cryo phial, it must be an older one. The newer ones have internal threads. I'd guess it's a cigar tube or maybe even the humidifier one. As a buddy who worked on the Harry Potter films said, "never build what you can find."

Does the screen used one have a flare at the top or is that just a ring making it look like it flares?

That looks pretty close to a set of flavored shots my friend got. It had about 8 flavors and came with a rack that held the tubes and shot glasses. If he still has it, I'll try to get pics.

There's a cigar shop in town I can try if it's still open. I will swing out tomorrow and see if they have anything close to it.

Any chance someone can upload a better pic from the dictionary? That one is kinda small..

Also, a screencap showing the size of the thing would be tremendously helpful.
