Doctor Who - The Master's Laser Screwdriver

Has any one got any good pictures or screen caps of the Master's Laser Screwdriver? I was hoping that someone would begin trying to make this prop. I really want one of these along with a metal Sonic Screwdriver. I hope someone steps up and tries to make it.
It looks like it is made of brass.

what is it with timelords and screwdrivers? I have to say the Masters Screwdriver had some kick to it for sure.

I haven't seen the episode yet, but I've read about the screwdriver. It sounds to me like the Master is just trying to one-up the Doctor. My screwdriver is bigger and better than yours... and who'd have sonic? :lol Not to mention the Master has so many other tricks up his sleeve.

Though I would have like to have seen an updated version of the tissue compression eliminator. It would be neat if he had one later on. Though I would hate to see this Laser Screwdriver get shelved either. It looks pretty cool.

I'd say it's just a toy version, but it's probably the closest we'll get to the real thing, it might even have the same dimensions as the real thing! :love

By the looks of it, actually, those three little things on the end of it (with those bright orange LEDs) extend when the large part extends.

Just a reminder; Weta have the DW license, and this piece could be in their range (hey, it's a possibility). Maybe we can expect some other pieces, as well, like the fob watch or the SSD.

When Weta does announce it, I bet it will be figurines and such, not props. This is from their website.

The Weta Collectibles line will incorporate key moments Doctor Who. The initial series will consist of four pieces, all of which capture a nostalgic scene from the series. Each piece will be made at 6th scale, be free standing, and made out of high quality polystone.

Anyway, just an update on this; I e-mailed the BBC shop and they told me that there is nothing planned for a laser screwdriver as far as they know. :angry

But, I e-mailed DoctorWhoToys.net and they told me that there is a Laser Screwdriver due out in September. Can't wait to be able to display it with the sonic once it gets here! :thumbsup

Just read about it about 5 minutes ago! And it's being made by Character Options, which is good. Bring on the props, CO! :love
