This years split season is one thing, but it looks like 2012 is going to be a season of "Specials".

I don't think the stories seem to flow as well in the short "Specials" seasons. On another note though, doesent Torchwood Miracle day premier next Friday or did that get put back also? I do not have high hopes, but maybe it will be good.

Moffat's emphatically denied both of those. There was a bit of a kerfuffle over statements made by BBC execs recently...

Private Eye magazine published a feature as to the reason season 7 has been curtailed about two weeks before the BBC admitted it.
