Work in progress. Still searching for a good high resolution shot of the photo on the front of the shirt. Anyone got one? The best I've found so far is on the site Medusa Cascade. I was hoping the Beeb site would have it but no luck.

New photos

The top arrow really does slant properly on the shirt, but in this image because of my chest it does this weird deal where it looks like its coming straight out. I might try to reposition it at even more of a angle if I can lift the arrow from the fabric again.

This is a great costume. Do you have the puffy coat too? I never did manage to find closer shoes that those New Balance ones I posted in the other thread by the way. I did take a look.

Also, looks like Rory will be sticking around. He's in the first 3 11th Doctor books that are coming out.

Thanks! I'm trying to find the proper puffy vest but it isn't easy to find out anything on it. No tags can be seen on it on the show to ID it :-/

Hey, I can actually help!

The vest in Amys' Choice (end scene) has a logo on the back - large grabs from here:

Looks like the costumers may have fabric markered the logo to try camoflage it.
Two tone North Face vest, I guess.

(I only noticed 'cause almost every outside broadcast news reporter wears a North Face coat - must be standard issue!)

Thank you! I went ahead and bought a "close enough" vest for the vest he wore in Vampires in Venice.

I will be searching for North Face vests now though ha ha.

Looking pretty good there sir, but who is Rory?

You still need those New Balance shoes too. I noticed that straight off the bat. If I were you, I wouldn't even bother looking for a better vest, it looks good enough as it is. Only the experts will notice it anyway.

I really want the shoes but I can't find the exact model. I think it may be the last set of shoes posted over in the shoe topic but those are rare and in my size even rarer.

I'm thinking of buying a similar style of New Balance shoe and using sharpie or shoe dye to make it more accurate.

I might just modify the vest to make it more accurate. It's not too far off.

Thanks! Yeah, I think all I need to do is add a couple seams here and there as well as some snaps. If I wanted to get really crazy I'd have to change the color of the lining to grey.

I wouldn't go crazy, only the perfectionists would even notice the lining, just add the seams and snaps. As far as I'm concerned all you need now is a good Doc 11 and a good Amy to hang with. There's a girl called wicked0witch who is a great Amy. Looks a lot like her and has the outfits down to a science.
