Hi all, went to the Doctor Who up close exhibition in Cardiff last weekend and thought i'd share a video I took with you guys :) I was so excited about it I had to show some people who understand!

Ok you may not be as impressed as I was seeing it in person but this is a very cool exhibition display nevertheless.

Its a shame I live so far away because I would love to go and see this.
Love the lasers from the Dalek guns

Cardiff isnt as far as you'd think its only a couple of hours from where I live (Near Portsmouth) so should be even closer to you (Essex?) I should think. It's well worth it as there are loads of Doctor Who/Torchwood filming loactions nearby including the Torchwood hub exterior locations just across the road from the exhibition!

Not quite! Essex is a whole lot further from Cardiff than Portsmouth. Of course living in a "small" island skews the concept of what a long journey is.

And I think Megamicrofish is a tad further away than Essex.

I really should check out the exhibit and fanboy a bit.

Well it says Essex UK under his avatar and according to the AA route finder is only about 45 mins further away from Cardiff than Portsmouth! :) I think it'd be worth the extra time tbh!

Sorry, in another topic, he mentioned that he was no longer in Essex. I think he's in the furtherest reaches of Alaska or something.

45mins? Really, I always think of Portsmouth as just up to the M4 and across, whereas Essex requires the M25, M4. It seems further away in my head.
